The answer is because society has had strict gender roles and duties and when any gender deviates from what is expected from them, they are looked down upon.

I am no feminist... but its a male dominated society... strength takes over logic... This is so uncanny... but while taking a break from the class... there was this flyer from sociology lecture series... which stated...

"Some Leaders are Born Women" ... and there was guy reading it ... he literally smirked and laughed at it... And I noticed that... and he noticed ... That I observed... yet he gives the same smirk at me and leaves !

[solitaire] Right you are. Some rules have just embedded in our subconscious.
I read the blog. I have no words either. The writer must have met some extremist women that made him so angry :)

[neeku] Yes, unfortunately we come across such men a lot but it's not that women are the only one to be looked down upon. Men have to face it too..just the scenario is different there.
